Dear followers and not,
Happy New Year and I hope we'll get more creative day by day..
Well,David Downtown's fashion illustrations & portraits really do it for me, his work is ridic. Most recently known for his impression of Cate Blanchett on the four '50th Anniversary' covers of Australian Vogue, he has also worked for likes of super brands Dior (oh Galliano!), Chanel & Yves Saint Laurent.
I just can't stop looking at his marvellous work...His sketches are exactly what I consider ART in fashion...Every single piece of his hands makes me stand in awe..
He uses the colours so correctly and he definately gives the right tense at the faces of his portraits...I could carry on like this for hours talking about his faboulous pieces of art..
I should not forget to mention that this post I kinda owe it to Florencia Ravelli
from www.theinspirationstoday.blogspot.com because me made me remember of that unbelievably gifted person who had been hidden deep in my mind..I always loved him and I'll never stop admiring him...Hope u adore him as much I do..
